Ancient Sun Foundation, Inc.

Ancient Sun Foundation (ASFI) exists to channel innovative ideas, practical knowledge and financial resources to programs developed by ASFI or other charitable organizations, focused around the following issues:

• World nourishment
• Sustainable Community Development
• Emergency Aid & Reconstruction:
• Wellness & Longevity Research and Education
• Environmental Restoration & Protection
• Research and Development
• World Unity (includes support of democratic, spiritual & artistic causes)

To fund and support its mandate, ASFI receives donations from individuals, groups and companies sharing compatible values and philosophy. Ancient Sun Nutrition, Inc. is an existing patron company that has committed 1 percent of total gross sales to the Foundation, in perpetuity.
ASFI programs are designed to provide valuable information, support and services to myriad groups and causes and to publish the results, goals and accomplishments of the Foundation on a regular basis to patrons of the Foundation as well as customers of ASNI, who are in effect, patrons of the Foundation. Research has shown that tithing and giving campaigns are extremely powerful tools in positively effecting employee and customer retention and loyalty.
In most cases, the Foundation will support already existing organizations whose mandates, goals and activities are in alignment with its own. In some cases, the Foundation will create its own unique programs, products, educational tools, and materials, and conduct its own research and development. In either situation, each cause, group or program will be thoroughly researched and appraised for core values, integrity and effectiveness. If chosen, the ASFI board will vote to determine the level and type of support to provide.

The Foundation has a broad vision that includes the following areas of interest:
• World nourishment programs, providing free nutritional products, educational materials and guidance to needy individuals, families and groups worldwide
• Emergency aid and reconstruction funds that are distributed using a database of the most effective provider organizations
• Environmental causes, including animal welfare and habitat protection
• Sustainable community projects, including educational programs, land preservation initiatives, sustainable agriculture and financial solutions
• Scientific research and education regarding preventive medicine, longevity and regeneration with a focus on Aphanizomenon flos-aquae; a website at www.algaeuniversity.org will be developed.
• New science and sustainable technology, with a focus on innovative research and development to promote exceptional health and wellness
• Progressive spiritual, democratic and artistic causes supporting inclusive and universally uplifting endeavors, without alignment with a particular religion, political party or special interest group
